Cem Karaca, known as one of the founding fathers of Anatolian Pop, lived in exile in Germany for years. During that time, he never gave up making music. Preferring group music, he formed a band named Kanaken with his longtime bandmate Fehiman Uğurdemir from Kardaşlar.⠀
